Album in production.
Through 11 songs, this album describes the story that unfolds in the Land of the Lake. The odd numbers are events in the travels of the Gaia politician in the Storyline of the Sun, while the even numbers are about the young man in the Storyline of the Ram.

The Two Cities is a nine-track album that describes the parable with the same name.
Contains the track Andar.
This first parable takes place in a land plagued by a long-lasting political stalemate between two large cities. The conflict escalates as a new figure enters the leadership in one of the cities. Behind the scenes, Andane work to prevent war. Eventually, when the two rivals launch their missiles, sacrifices must be made to save civilisation from destruction.
The scholar tells the story of Eldfolket. Living on a secluded island far out in the ocean, they have never had contact with other civilisations. One day, foreign ships arrive with travelers that are sick and hungry. A relationship that starts with a friendly request for help is soon marred by misunderstandings, fear and mistrust. As desperation grows among the newly arrived, they become reckless and take actions that have severe concequences.

Welcome to the ANDAR universe, a melodic electronic music project created by Tore Ivar Malmei Aarsland in Bergen, Norway. This is an interactive website and by exploring it you can unlock a new song!
The story of ANDAR revolves around the travels of a politician of Gaia (Storyline of the Sun) and a passionate young man (Storyline of the Ram).
Both of them, each in their own way, and unaware of the existence of the other, end up playing key roles in a series of important events. ANDAR is a story of ambition, of the consequences of one's actions, and of how everyone has the power to shape the world.
Vasspegelen is the first album from the ANDAR universe and was released January 15th in 2021. The album presents the parable Vasspegelen through seven songs: Sokne var skipa me segler | Lukke til | Vêr | Det ukjende | Vasspegelen | Eldfolket | De skal veta at me angrar. Listen to Vasspegelen on Spotify, Bandcamp and other music platforms. Sokne var skipa me segler can also be found in the media player below.
Vassdropar is the first single from the ANDAR universe and contains two songs Sokne var skipa me segler and Andar. It is available on various platforms including Spotify and Bandcamp. The two songs can also be found in the media player below.
Augeblink is a series of memories - drawings each with their own musical theme. You can find them on Instagram and YouTube.
Land of the Lake: The story of ANDAR takes place in the Land of the Lake, a valley between steep mountains. A river runs from the mountains, beneath the city of Gaia, through the valley and off the cliff as a great waterfall down into the Black Lake. The lake itself lies still in a rocky basin.
Gaia: A city with an ancient history, rebuilt a long time ago after an environmental disaster caused by harmful technology and gluttonous usage of natural resources. Since then there has been a ban on the use of the old technology, but there is a growing public opinion that it is necessary to reintroduce it to increase the wealth and welfare of the land. In the last few decades, two distinct political factions have emerged, and political strife is brewing.
Storyline of the Sun: A prominent figure in the Gaia political scene of Gaia is plotting to stage a coup. When her organisation is attacked by a militia connected to the political opposition, she barely manages to flee the city by throwing herself into the river. The strong current pulls her all the way down to the cliffs above the Black Lake. Having nowhere else to go, she decides to search for the legendary City in the Lake.
Storyline of the Ram: A young man, excited by the prospect of revamping old technology, is on his way to Gaia to join the growing political movement when he gets side-tracked by an old scholar. On their journey the old scholar shares deep knowledge of philosophy and mythology.
The City in the Lake: Once a thriving city on the cliffs above the Black Lake, this city was drowned during the great environmental disaster. It sunk to the bottom of the lake, but the civilisation's advanced energy technology protected the city and enabled its inhabitants to live on. However, trapped below the Black lake, the city and its people are forgotten by those living on the surface.
Parables: In his endeavour to educate his younger companion, the old scholar puts forth two Parables.
First Parable - The Two Cities: This first parable takes place in a land plagued by a long-lasting political stalemate between two large cities. The conflict escalates as a new figure enters the leadership in one of the cities. Behind the scenes, Andane work to prevent war. Eventually, when the two rivals launch their missiles, sacrifices must be made to save civilisation from destruction. Depicted in the icon is a small hut, the home of Andane.
Second parable - Vasspegelen: The scholar tells the story of Eldfolket, a people living in isolation on an island far out in the ocean. One day ships arrive on their shores,
and they are frightened by the sight. The foreingers are exhausted by the long travel, and many of them are struggeling with malnutrition and disease. They request help from Eldfolkets leadership.
Eldfolket, who have never had contact with other civilisations, are anxious and meet the requests from the foreigners with sceptisism and mistrust. The hesitance to help make the foreigners angry,
and as desperation grows, they become reckless and take actions that have severe concequences.
Vassdropar: The first single from the ANDAR universe. It contains the two songs Sokne var skipa me segler and Andar. Available on various platforms including Spotify, Bandcamp and here on the ANDAR homepage in the footer media player.
